Add your logo and brand colour
Settings → Workspace → Branding is where you put your logo and colour on what your clients see: their portal, your sign-in page, and the emails Timebun sends on your behalf. Only the Owner (shown as Portal admin in the app for now) sees this page.
What you need first
- A plan that includes branding. Branding and your own address are included in Unlimited and Enterprise, and in your free trial. On Starter the page says Not on this plan and has no upload or colour controls. See Timebun's plans.
- Your own address, such as yourfirm.timebun.com. On the main Timebun address everyone sees Timebun's own look. If your workspace doesn't have its own address yet, the page says so: email support@timebun.com with the address you'd like and we'll set one up.
Once you have one, the page shows Live on with a link to it.
If your plan stops including branding — for example, when your trial ends and you're on Starter — nothing you saved is deleted. Your address sends everyone to the main Timebun address, and your clients see Timebun's look. When your plan includes branding again, your address and your look come back as they were.
A domain of your own from the Branded portal add-on, such as portal.yourfirm.com, keeps working on Starter, but shows Timebun's look there.

Upload your artwork
Each upload saves as soon as you pick the file. There's no Save button on this page.
- Logo — click Upload a logo (or Replace). PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2 MB. A PNG with a transparent background works best. SVG isn't accepted.
- Logo for dark backgrounds — optional. Used instead of the logo wherever the background is dark: the sidebar and sign-in page in dark mode.
- Favicon — a square PNG, ideally 512 × 512, up to 512 KB. Shown in the browser tab and as the app icon when someone adds your address to their phone's home screen. Smaller than 192 × 192, and an app installed on Android or a computer keeps Timebun's icon.
Click Remove under any of them to go back to none.
Set your brand colour
- Pick a colour with the swatch, or paste a hex value such as
#1D4ED8into the box. - Check the Start timer preview button beside it.
- Click Save colour.
Buttons, links and highlighted rows are all built from that one colour. White text has to stay readable on it, so a colour that's too pale is refused with a note to try a darker shade. Click Clear to go back to Timebun's orange.
Where it shows
- Your address — the sign-in page, the client portal, and the app for your own team when they sign in there.
- Emails — invitations, invoices, reminders, low-hours alerts and message notifications carry your logo and colour, and arrive from "Your agency via Timebun".
- Home-screen app — installing from your address gives your name and favicon. See Install Timebun on your phone.
The invoice PDF and the payment page are Stripe's. Style those in your Stripe dashboard under Settings → Business → Branding; the Branding page links there once Stripe is connected. See Stripe's Customize invoices.
