The Invoices page
Invoices in the main menu lists every invoice raised on your Stripe account, newest first. Admins and the Owner (shown as Portal admin in the app for now) can see it; Team members can't.
The figures at the top
Six tiles, for the whole workspace — they ignore the filters below.
| Tile | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Outstanding | What's still owed on open invoices, and how many. |
| Past due | The part of that on invoices past their due date. |
| Billed this month | Invoices finalised this month (open or paid), less credit notes issued this month. |
| Billed this year | The same, for the calendar year. |
| Collected this month | Payments that landed this month, each on its own date. |
| Collected this year | The same, for the calendar year. |
Click Outstanding or Past due to filter the list to those invoices. Drafts, void invoices and uncollectible invoices aren't counted in Outstanding, Past due or Billed. Collected counts every payment that landed, whatever became of its invoice afterwards.
If you bill in more than one currency, you get one row of tiles per currency, and the two tiles stop being links.

Filter the list
- Status — Any status, Draft, Open, Overdue, Paid, Void or Uncollectible. Overdue narrows Open to those past their due date.
- Type — Direct, Retainer, Top-up or Upgrade (The four types of invoice).
- Client — searchable; lists every client ever invoiced.
Read a row
- Invoice — Stripe's number, or Draft until it's finalised.
- Client — with a No recipient badge if nobody at that client receives invoices, so finalising would email no one.
- Status — hover for what it means. A partly paid invoice shows how much has been paid.
- Type, Period, Due (red when overdue), Total and Outstanding (a dash when nothing is left to collect).
Click a row to open the invoice.
New invoice and export
- New invoice asks which client to bill, then which projects, dates and expenses go on the draft — see Create an invoice from unbilled work.
- Export CSV downloads the list as it's filtered, with Invoice, Client, Status, Type, Period, Due, Total, Paid, Outstanding and Currency columns.
A client's own invoices are also on the Invoices tab of their client page.
